The Goodreads alternative that's actually beautiful

One link, every book you've read. Import your Goodreads library in a click and get a shelf you'll actually want to share.

Paste up to 5 titles — no signup needed to preview.

Goodreads is where reading data goes to look like a spreadsheet from 2009. If you keep your reading list there out of habit but wince every time you share your profile, DigitalShelf is the shelf you show people.

It's not a social network and it doesn't want your attention — it's a beautiful, warm, library-styled page at digitalshelf.me/yourname with every book you've read, your favourites starred, and the one you're reading now front and centre.

Import from Goodreads in one click

Export your Goodreads library as CSV, drop it into DigitalShelf, and your entire reading history appears with covers — ratings become starred favourites, shelves become read/reading/to-read status.

A shelf, not a feed

No ads, no giveaways, no friend requests from strangers. Just your books on a shelf that looks like a shelf, with covers, warm wood, and a link you can put anywhere.

Films too

Your shelf has a second wing: every film you've watched, pulled from TMDB with posters, on the same link.

Common questions

Can I import my Goodreads library?

Yes. Export your library from Goodreads (Account Settings → Import/Export → Export Library), then upload the CSV in your DigitalShelf admin panel. Titles, authors, ratings and shelf status all carry over.

Is DigitalShelf free?

Yes, free. Claim your link, import your books, share it.

Do I lose my Goodreads reviews?

Your star ratings carry over as favourites. You can add personal notes to any book on your shelf after importing.
